This blue fire tornado can occur during urban fires and can be very dangerous to the surrounding population but scientists have discovered that this fire can burn nearly soot-free and may be the answer to oil spill clean up. Usually these fires are yellow because they mix the with the soot they produce, the blue confirms that there is enough oxygen for complete combustion. Which means the reduction of wanted or unwanted emissions and the clean up of oil spills. These flames are hotter so they would burn faster, making this method cleaner and over quicker.
I think this would be a very interesting new approach to a serious problem. Water pollution does immense damage to the environment and the many varieties of ecosystems it provides for. With this method, we could save our waters faster. Of course, there are some concerns, scientists would have to figure out if they could even control the blue fire tornado in the first place. But if they accomplished it, this could mean a new standard of clean up control.
